ROCHESTER, NY - Senior Caitlyn Burr (Delhi, NY/Delaware Academy), a member of the RIT women's swimming and diving team, earned 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American At-Large second team honors on Monday.  Selections are made based on a combination of academic and athletic excellence.  Burr, a finance major, was a first team all-district selection with a sparkling 3.76 grade-point average.  Last year, she was a second team all-district selection.  Burr becomes RIT's first CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine national Academic All-American since baseball standout Ryan Tryt (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) in 2007 and 2008.

ROCHESTER, NY - Senior Caitlyn Burr (Delhi, NY/Delaware Academy) of the RIT women's swimming and diving squad was named the winner of the 2010 Barbara Radef Award.  The award is given out by the UNYSCSA (Upper New York State Collegiate Swimming Association) to a graduating senior, who was successful in the classroom and enjoyed distinguished performances at the state and national levels.

ROCHESTER, NY - Senior swimmer Caitlyn Burr (Delhi, NY/Delaware Academy) is representing RIT at the 2010 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships which will take place from March 17-20 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.  It is her third straight appearance at the NCAA Championships.  She is a two-time honorable mention All-American.

SYRACUSE, NY - The RIT women's swimming and diving team smashed three school records finishing eighth at the 2010 UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Championships hosted by LeMoyne College at Nottingham High School is complete.  The Tigers finished eighth out of 16 teams with a total of 489.5 points.
