Women's Basketball Loses Season Opener to Geneseo

GENESEO, NY -- The RIT women's basketball team opened the 2008-09 season with a 78-61 loss at SUNY Geneseo on Tuesday night. Freshman Sharon Dennis (Liverpool, NY) had nine points and a game-high 14 rebounds to lead the Tigers. Danielle Furman (Coudersport, PA) had 12 points to lead RIT.

Women's Soccer Falls to SUNY Brockport in ECAC Upstate Championship Game

ROCHESTER, NY – Tournament MVP Jessica VanAllen scored in the 63rd minute to propel SUNY Brockport to a 1-0 win over RIT in the 2008 ECAC Upstate Championship at RIT Turf Field on Sunday afternoon.

Men's Hockey Beats Army

ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT men’s hockey team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 6-3 win over Army on Saturday night. The win moves the Tigers back into a second-place tie for second in the AHA. With the win RIT is 6-0 in conference games at home in Saturday night games after a Friday night loss.
