Men's and women's cross country teams earn 2016 USTFCCCA All-Academic honors

ROCHESTER, NY - The RIT men's and women's cross country team earned 2016 Division III United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors on Friday, Feb. 10. 
 
To be honored as an All-Academic Cross Country Team, teams needed a cumulative team grade-point average of at least 3.1 and compete at the regional championships.  Both the men and women have received this prestigious honor 11 times in the last 12 years.

The RIT women had an excellent team GPA of 3.75, fourth best in all of Division III in 2016. It is their four straight All-Academic accolade
 
RIT's men enjoyed a 3.38 GPA in 2016 and earned this prestigious honor for the third straight season.
 
A remarkable total of 216 Division III women's cross country teams and 173 men's squads earned All-Academic Team honors.
