ROCHESTER, NY -- It was a busy weekend for RIT Athletics last week. Here is a look back to last week and a brief look ahead to another action-packed weekend of events at RIT. For more information, check out

Women's Basketball: (9-3, 2-2 Liberty League)
Last Week: RIT went 1-2 last week. Tuesday, the Tigers lost 72-62 to No. 22 Rochester.
Cori Okada (Fullerton, CA/Troy) led the Tigers with 26 points. Friday, despite a career-high 32 points from Okada, the Tigers lost 83-72 at Vassar. RIT rebounded with a convincing 95-29 win at Bard. All but one Tiger scored at least one point, including 12 from
Jessica Glaz (Rockaway Beach, NY/Scholars Academy). The 95 points is two points shy of the record 97 points set in 2009 and 2015.

Honors and Recognition:

This Week: RIT hosts its first Liberty League contests of the season this weekend. Friday, the Tigers host Skidmore College at 6 p.m., and Rensselaer on Saturday at 2 p.m. Skidmore enters the week atop the Liberty League standings with a 4-0 record. Rensselaer comes into the weekend looking for its first conference win.

1/7 vs. Rensselaer – 2 p.m.
Men's Basketball: (8-5, 2-2 Liberty League)
Last Week: RIT went 2-1 last week. Tuesday, the Tigers lost to No. 4 Rochester 73-72. RIT was whistled for a foul at the end of regulation giving the Yellowjackets two free throws to tie and win the game.
AJ Horde (Oak Park, MI/University of Detroit Jesuit) and
Robert Aguilera (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) led the Tigers with 13 points apiece.
Friday, Horde tallied a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds; while Aguilera added eight points, 14 rebounds and four blocks in a 61-44 win at Vassar. RIT capped off the week with an 87-77 win at Bard College on Saturday. Horde tallied 27 points, while Aguilera added 15 points, six rebounds, had three blocks.

This Week: RIT hosts a pair of Liberty League games. The Tigers host Skidmore College at 8 p.m. on Friday, and Rensselaer at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Skidmore and Rensselaer enter the weekend tied for third in the league with identical 3-1 records.

Women's Hockey: (3-18-1, 1-6-1 College Hockey America)
This Week: RIT returns to action for the first time in 2017 this weekend. The Tigers will play a weekend series at CHA rival Mercyhurst University. Friday's game begins at 6 p.m., while Saturday's game faces off at 1 p.m. in Erie, Pa. These games are the first of four regular season meetings between the two schools. RIT won the 2014 and 2015 CHA Championships, while Mercyhurst has won 15 straight CHA regular season championships.

Men's Hockey: (9-11-1, 9-6-0 Atlantic Hockey Conference)
Last Week: RIT split a pair of Atlantic Hockey home games this past weekend. Friday, the Tigers defeated Sacred Heart 3-1. Erik Brown scored a pair of goals, while Matt Abt handed out a pair of assists. Mike Rotolo got the win in net, making 20 saves. Abt scored the Tigers lone goal in a 5-1 loss on Saturday.

This Week: RIT hits the road for a pair of Atlantic Hockey Conference contests this weekend at American International College. Friday's game faces off at 7:05 p.m. on Friday and 2:05 p.m. on Saturday at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass.

Last Week: RIT went 2-0 at the NY/PA Duals on Saturday. The Tigers defeated No. 23 Lycoming College 26-16, and downed King's College 36-11.

Dempsey King (New Hartford, NY/New Hartford),
Nicholas Greenquist (Spring Lake, NJ/St. Rose) and
