ROCHESTER, NY – Senior forward Andrew Miller (Chicago, IL/Chicago Steel) of the RIT men's hockey team, has signed an amateur tryout contract and will make his professional debut with the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League (AHL) on Saturday, April 9.

Miller appeared in 31 games for the Tigers in 2015-16, tallying a career-high 11 points on four goals and seven assists and was plus-3. One of three captains, Miller helped lead RIT to its second consecutive Atlantic Hockey Championship and earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Miller scored the game-tying goal late in regulation in the Atlantic Hockey Semifinal against Air Force, a contest RIT would eventually win in overtime.

Overall, Miller recorded 33 points on 15 goals and 18 assists in 136 career contests for the Tigers. He was named to the Atlantic Hockey Championship All-Tournament Team in 2015.

He joins fellow teammates Greg Amlong (O'Fallon, MO/UMass Lowell), Alexander Kuqali (Pittsburgh, PA/Sioux City Musketeers), and Josh Mitchell (Osoyoos, British Columbia/Alberni Valley Bulldogs), who signed professional contracts last week.
