ROCHESTER, NY -- It was an extremely busy weekend for RIT Athletics last week. Here is a look back to last week and a brief look ahead to another action-packed weekend of events at RIT. For more information click

Women's Basketball: (6-0, 0-0 Liberty League)
Last Week: RIT went 2-0 at the Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Classic. Friday, the Tigers defeated Nazareth 68-52.
Cori Okada (Fullerton, CA/Troy) led RIT with 12 points, while
Tara Lynch (Green Township, NJ/Newton) and
Jessica Glaz (Rockaway Beach, NY/Scholars Academy) each scored 10 points.
Saturday, Okada tied the game at 71-71 with her 3-pointer with three seconds to play as RIT came back to beat St. John Fisher 82-80 in overtime. Okada scored a career-high 24 points, while Lynch added a career-high 33 points, earning Liberty League Performer of the Week honors.

Last Week: Â RIT played two games at the Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Classic. Friday, the Tigers defeated Nazareth 87-79.
AJ Horde (Oak Park, MI/University of Detroit Jesuit) led the Tigers with 21 points and seven assists.
Joe Stortini (Red Hook, NY/Loomis Chaffee) and
Charles Okehie (Owing Mills, MD/McDonogh) each scored 11 points. Saturday, RIT lost to St. John Fisher 85-77 at Nazareth. Horde led the Tigers with 24 points, while
Troy Pierre-Louis (Providence, RI/Berkshire School) and
Anthony Lewis (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) each scored 13 points.

This Week: RIT hosts a pair of games. The Tigers host Alfred University on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. Prior to tip-off, RIT head coach will be inducted into the Wendy's College Classic Hall of Fame. Saturday, RIT closes out the semester hosting SUNY Poly at 2 p.m. Thursday, RIT plays at Wells College.

Women's Hockey: (3-16-1, 1-6-1 College Hockey America)
Last Week: RIT went 0-1-1 in a pair of CHA contests. Friday, the Tigers tied Syracuse 2-2 on the road. Kendall Cornine scored both RIT goals, including the game-tying goal at 16:37 of the third. Jenna de Jonge made 32 saves in net. Saturday, Syracuse beat RIT 3-0 at Gene Polisseni Center. de Jonge made 23 saves in net.

This Week: RIT will play a weekend series versus Bemidji State. Friday's game at the Gene Polisseni Center begins at 2:05, while Saturday's game faces off at 1:05 p.m.

Men's Hockey: (8-7-1, 8-5-0 Atlantic Hockey Conference)
Last Week: RIT swept a pair of Atlantic Hockey road games, beating Niagara 7-1 on Friday and 6-2 on Saturday. The Tigers scored six power play goals on Friday, led by Liam Kerins and Ryan Kruper who each scored two goals. Adam Brubacher dished out three assists, and Mike Rotolo made 21 saves in net. RIT scored six straight goals on Saturday. Danny Smith scored a pair of goals, while Nrady Norrish and Shawn Cameron each had two assists. Rotolo made 12 saves in net to improve to 8-7-1 on the season.

Honors and Recognition:
Brady Norrish – Atlantic Hockey Defensive Player of the Week
This Week: RIT hosts 2014 NCAA National Champion Providence College for a pair of games at the Gene Polisseni Center this weekend. Both games get underway at 7:05 p.m. On Saturday, RIT will hold its annual Tiger toss.

Women's Swimming and Diving (5-1):
This Week: RIT placed third at the 2016 Liberty League Swimming and Diving Championships last weekend at Judson Pool on the campus of RIT. The Tigers recorded a team score of 980 points.

Wrestling:
Last Week: RIT finished in a tie for fourth at the 51st annual RIT Wrestling Invitational from the Gordon Field House and Activities Center on Saturday. Senior
Jake Sepor (Stafford, NY/Pavilion) won the individual title at 141 lbs., while
Dempsey King (New Hartford, NY/New Hartford),
Nicholas Greenquist (Spring Lake, NJ/St. Rose), and
Sam Weinger (Blooming Grove, NY/Washingtonville) recorded third place finishes.
Honors and Recognition:

This Week: RIT wraps up the semester with an Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference match at No. 4 Ithaca College on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.

Women's Indoor Track and Field:
Last Week: RIT opened their 2016-17 indoor season at the Brockport Green vs. Gold Alumni Multi-Meet on Friday and Saturday. The Tigers placed fourth out of six teams with 73 points.
Jess Calzolari (Longmont, CO/Mead) was second out of eight competitors in the pentathlon with a score of 2,940 points, earning Liberty League Field Athlet of the Week honors.
In track events,
Ali Binga () took the 400-meter run in a time of 1:03.59.
Marissa Dispenza (Batavia, NY/Batavia) won the 500-meters in 1:21.15, while
Amelia Brunner (East Petersburg, PA/Hempfield) was third in 1:23.29.

Men's Indoor Track and Field:
Last Week: opened their 2016-17 indoor season at the Brockport Green vs. Gold Alumni Multi-Meet on Saturday from the Brockport Special Events and Recreation Center. RIT placed second out of six teams with 146 points, as host Brockport won with 183 points. On the track side, RIT had four of the top five finishers in the 60-meter hurdles.
Myles Garner (Gurnee, IL/Warren Township) was second in 8.54 seconds, while
Daniel Guiliano () was third in 8.65 seconds,
Jeremy McGrath () placed fourth and Michael Kahovec was fifth.
