ROCHESTER, NY -- It was another busy week in RIT Athletics with plenty of highlights. Here is a brief look back and a look ahead at upcoming events for the week of Nov. 8, 2016.
Women's Cross Country:
Last Week: Did not compete
This Week: RIT competes at the NCAA Division III Regional Championship hosted by Rowan University on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 11 a.m. in Sewell, New Jersey.

This Week: RIT competes at the NCAA Division III Regional Championship hosted by Rowan University on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 12 p.m. in Sewell, New Jersey.
Women's Volleyball: (21-18) – season complete
Last Week: RIT, the fourth seed, lost to No. 1 seed and host Vassar College in five sets at the Liberty League Tournament on Friday. The Tigers lost the first and third sets, but won the second and fourth sets to send the match to a fifth-and-deciding set. In the fifth set, Vassar built a lead and never looked back.

Sarah Szybist (Colorado Springs, CO/Ramstein) once again led all players in the match with 25 kills, to go along with 13 digs.
Sara Taylor (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) added 11 kills, while
Anna Valentine (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Mendon) had 12 digs and eight kills. Sophomore
Erin Parkinson (Carrollton, TX/W.T. White) notched a double-double with a team-high 40 assists and 12 digs, while
Rebecca Bennett (Springfield, PA/Springfield) had a team-best 14 digs.

Women's Hockey: (1-11-0, 0-2-0 CHA)
Last Week: RIT went 0-2-0. Friday, the Tigers lost to national-ranked Colgate 6-2. Reagn Rust and Kendall Cornine each scored for the Tigers. Terra Lanteigne made 21 saves in net for the Tigers. Saturday, the Tigers lost 4-1 at Colgate. Kathryn Kennedy tallied the Tigers lone goal, while Jenna de Jonge made 38 saves in net.

Men's Hockey: (3-5-1, 3-3-0 Atlantic Hockey Conference)
Last Week: RIT went 0-2-0, losing a pair of AHC contests to Canisius. Friday, despite firing 41 shots, the Tigers were defeated 1-0 at HARBORCENTER in Buffalo, N.Y. Mike Rotolo made 21 saves in net. Caleb Cameron scored RIT's goal on Saturday in a 2-1 loss to the Griffins at Gene Polisseni Center. Rotolo made 18 saves in net on Saturday.

Steven Paine (York, PA/Dallastown Area),
Spencer Hall (Plattsburgh, NY/Plattsburgh) and
John O'Gorman (Yarmouth, ME/Yarmouth) each won two individual events to help pace the Tigers.
Ben Hamilton (Addison, NY/Addison) was second in the 3-meter dive with a score of 217.80, while
Alex Dieroff (Syracuse, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt) was third in the 1-meter, with a tally of 217.05 points.

Last Week: Tuesday, the Tigers defeated Niagara County Community College 23-15 in its season-opener, and placed eight out of 11 teams at the Ithaca Invitational over the weekend. On Tuesday,
Jake Sepor (Stafford, NY/Pavilion),
Colby Hall (Deposit, NY/Deposit),
Dempsey King (New Hartford, NY/New Hartford),
Nicholas Greenquist (Spring Lake, NJ/St. Rose),
Joe Messare (Ballston Lake, NY/Burnt Hills) and
Sam Weinger (Blooming Grove, NY/Washingtonville) all won. Sepor placed third at 141 lbs. at the Ithaca Invitational.
