ROCHESTER, NY -- It was another busy week in RIT Athletics with plenty of highlights. Here is a brief look back and a look ahead at upcoming events for the week of Nov. 15, 2016.
Women's Cross Country:
Last Week: RIT competed at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship on Saturday, at Rowan University in Sewell, N.J. Senior
Emma Jones (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) was the Tigers top finisher, placing eighth overall out of 303 runners, completing the course in a time of 21:10.5. She will represent RIT at the NCAA Division III Championships this weekend. It is the third appearance for Jones at the NCAA Championships.
This Week: Jones will represent RIT at the 2016 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship on Saturday, Nov. 19 at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, KY.

Jon Pelzar (Redding, CT/Joel Barlow) and junior
James Bailey (Danvers, MA/Danvers) were the Tigers top finishers. Bailey placed fifth overall out of 326 runners with a time of 24:28.3, while Pelzar was right behind in ninth, recording a time of 24:43.3.
This Week: Pelzar and Bailey will represent RIT at the 2016 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship on Saturday, Nov. 19 at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, KY.

Women's Basketball: (0-0, 0-0 Liberty League)
This Week: RIT begins the 2016-17 regular season with a game at SUNY Brockport on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. The Tigers travel to California for a pair of games over the weekend. RIT faces host Occidental College on Saturday at 5 p.m. Sunday, the Tigers face Whittier College at 3 p.m. at Occidental.

11/19 at Occidental College – 5 p.m.
11/20 vs. Whittier College (at Occidental) – 3 p.m.

Women's Hockey: (1-13-0, 0-4-0 College Hockey America)
Last Week: RIT hosted a pair of CHA games over the weekend. Friday, the Tigers lost to Robert Morris 4-3. Claudia Black, Taylor Baker and Cassie Clayton each scored goals for the Tigers, while Kendall Cornine handed out two assists. Jenna de Jonge took the loss in net, making 23 saves. Saturday, the Tigers fell 5-1. Cornine scored the Tigers lone goal, while Brooke Stoddart took the loss in net, making 27 saves.

This Week: RIT plays a pair of CHA games at Lindenwood University this weekend. Friday's game in St. Louis, MO begins at 8 p.m., while Saturday starts at 4 p.m.

11/19 at Lindenwood University – 4 p.m.
Men's Hockey: (3-7-1, 3-5-0 Atlantic Hockey Conference)
Last Week: RIT went 0-2-0, losing a pair of AHC contests at Air Force Academy. Friday, the Tigers came back from a 3-0 second-period deficit to tie the game at 3-3 only to lose 4-3. Chase Norrish, Todd Skirving and Ryan Kruper each scored for RIT, while Mike Rotolo took the loss, making 20 saves. Saturday, Kruper, Liam Kerins and Erik Brown each scored, but it wasn't enough, as the Falcons beat the Tigers 4-3.

This Week: RIT hosts Army West Point in a pair of AHC contests this weekend at the Gene Polleseni Center. Both games get underway at 7:05 p.m.

Women's Swimming and Diving (4-1):
Last Week: RIT continued its strong start to the season with a 147-96 win at LeMoyne College on Saturday.
Sedera Zbranak (Austin, TX/Lake Travis) led RIT with a pair of wins in individual events, while
Alaiya Tuntemeke (Livonia, NY/Livonia) and
Patsy Hayes (San Jose, CA/Abraham Lincoln) placed well in both diving events.

Men's Swimming and Diving (3-1):
Last Week: RIT was defeated by LeMoyne College 140-103 on Saturday. The Tigers swept the top two spots in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions.
Alex Dieroff (Syracuse, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt) won the 1-meter competition with a score of 269.2, while
Ben Hamilton (Addison, NY/Addison) won the 3-meter competition, finishing in a score of 169.95.
