ROCHESTER, NY - The RIT men's crew varsity eight boat was named the Liberty League Boat of the Week on Monday, for the week ending Oct. 9, 2016. It is RIT crew's first weekly honor of the 2016-17 season.
The Tigers were dominant across the board at the Head of the Genesee Regatta Saturday, with the varsity eight winning the Men's Collegiate Eight and the Kate Louise Cup for the first time in program history. RIT's varsity eight of

Spencer Gasiorowski (Milwaukee, WI/Whitefish Bay) stopped the clock at 15:46.36 to claim gold in the Men's Collegiate Eight 18-boat field. The Tigers were 12 seconds ahead of second place Ithaca and the University of Rochester was third.
The Tigers close out the fall season on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Head of the Fish Regatta in Saratoga Springs.
