ROCHESTER, NY - Freshman Alex Dieroff (Syracuse, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt) of the RIT men's swimming and diving team was named the Liberty League and ECAC Men's Diver of the Week on Monday, for the week ending Jan. 24, 2016. It is Dieroff's first weekly honor of his career.

Dieroff picked up wins in both diving events against Rochester on Saturday, first by taking the 3-meter with a score of 301.95 and recording an excellent score of 325.27 to win the 1-meter event.

RIT wraps up the regular season with a home meet against Nazareth on Saturday from the Judson Pool at 1 p.m.
