Men's tennis competes at ITA Championships hosted by Hobart

GENEVA, NY
- The RIT men's tennis team competed at the ITA Championships hosted by Hobart on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20-21.
 
Junior Chandler Daub (Kailua-Kona, HI/Kealakehe) earned the Tigers only single match win of the weekend, defeating Vassar's Daniel Cooper 6-3, 2-6, 10-5 in the opening round. He put up a good fight in his second match but was unable to take Hobart's Michael Rusk.
 
Sophomore Ben Lynaugh (Fairport, NY/Fairport) and senior Amos Baptiste (Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) dropped their doubles match to New York University's Karan Goyal and Billy Smithline.
 
The Tigers will host St. John Fisher on Friday, Sept. 26 at 4 p.m. to wrap up the fall season.
