HAVERHILL, MA --
Fourteen RIT men's hockey players earned 2013-14 Atlantic Hockey Association All-Academic team honors on Tuesday, July 8.  Out of the 14 players selected, eight are repeat honorees, including Greg Noyes (Lucan, Ontario/Salmon Arm Silverbacks), who was honored for the fourth time. Noyes and Anthony Hamburg (Phoenix, AZ/Omaha Lancers) were named 2013-14 AHA Student-Athletes of the Year for posting a 4.0 grade-point average. Ten AHA student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA in 2013-14.

For the 11th straight year, a new standard was set in the classroom for the student-athletes of Atlantic Hockey as 202 earned a spot on the All-Academic Team. The 202 student-athletes eclipses the mark of 184 that were honored after the 2012-13 season. This season, 115 student-athletes have been named multiple times on the All-Academic Team, with 22 players earning their fourth appearance. In addition, 31 are appearing for the third time, while 62 are being honored for the second time.
