ROCHESTER, NY – Senior goalkeeper Amanda Murray (Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls) of the RIT women's soccer team was selected to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-District III Women's Soccer Team on Thursday. Murray was also an all-district selection in 2013.
 
Murray has started all 16 games in goal for RIT this season posting an 8-3-5 record with a 0.70 goals against average, .848 save percentage and seven shut outs. A biomedical engineering major, Murray has a 3.9 grade point average and has been named to RIT Dean's List in 2012-13 and 2013-14. She is a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and has helped RIT's defense hold opponents to 0.75 goals a game this season.
 
For her career, Murray has a school-record 0.74 goals against average and a .853 save percentage. She holds the school record with 23 career shut outs and has a 28-13-9 career record in three seasons at RIT with a .650 winning percentage. Her 28 wins in third all time at RIT, and her career 0.858 save percentage is third all time at the university.

RIT is 8-3-5 on the season and 3-2-2 in the Liberty League. The Tigers close out the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 1 versus No. 8 William Smith College at 1 p.m. in Geneva, N.Y.
