ROCHESTER, NY - Rochester Institute of Technology invites all its alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and fans to Frontier Field on Saturday, Aug. 24, for the first-ever RIT Day with the Rochester Red Wings. Before the game, the 2013 RIT men's lacrosse team will be honored at home plate, while members of the men's and women's hockey team will throw the ceremonial first pitch and sign autographs during the game.

First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. as the first place Red Wings take on the Indianapolis Indians. Tickets for RIT Community members are just $6! ($5 for RIT students).

As part of the festivities, RIT is asking guests to wear their best "RIT orange" shirt. Participants will be treated to great RIT prizes, contests and a special sneak peek of Frozen Frontier, the outdoor hockey game featuring RIT's men's and women's teams on Dec. 14. A special announcement regarding the game will also be made on the field before the baseball game at 6:30 p.m.
