ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT (4-1,0-0 Liberty League) men's lacrosse team moved into fourth in this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Coaches poll. The Tigers moved into fourth place with 264 points, 27 points behind third place Dickinson who is third this week.
SUNY Cortland remains the top-ranked team in Division III with 315 points and 13 first place votes, while Stevenson is second with 305 points and three first place votes. Washington College rounds out the top five.
RIT went 2-0 last week with wins over No. 14 Western New England (13-4), and Endicott College (17-5). RIT is allowing 4.5 goals per game over the last four games, while averaging 16.0 goals per game in that stretch.
Sophomore
Pat Johnston (Long Beach, CA/Norwell (MA)) was named Liberty League Defensive Player of the Week for his performance last week. Johnston went 2-0 between the pipes with a 4.63 goals against average and a .750 save percentage in two games.

The Tigers will host St. John Fisher College on Wednesday, March 20 at 4 pm on RIT's Turf Field, then hit the road to begin Liberty League play this weekend at Clarkson on Saturday, March 23 at 1 pm.
