WILLIAMSPORT, PA -- The RIT wrestling team posted a 1-1 record on Saturday in the consolation round of the 2013 Bud Whitehill Duals hosted by Lycoming College. RIT was defeated by Case Western, 21-10 in the morning match, and defeated Muskingum 43-10 in the afternoon match.
RIT picked up wins at 133 lbs., 141 lbs., 149 lbs., 157 lbs. and 285 lbs. #
Rory Bruce (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda)#, who won twice on Friday, picked up a forfeit win at 133 lbs. #
Lucas Howland (Albany, NY/Schoharie)# won a 6-4 decision over Xander Straughter at 141 lbs.

Brad Mayville (Marion, NY/Wayne) moved to 3-0 on the weekend defeated Zack McCarthy 6-0 at 149 lbs. (Seneca Castle, NY/Midlakes)Nick Greenquist# defeated Evan McDowell with a technical fall at 7:00, 16-1. #
Nick Stewart (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin)# improved to 3-0 on the weekend with a 5-3 decision over Dale English at 285 lbs.
Versus Muskingum, RIT picked up wins in eight-of-10 matches, including two pinfalls. #
Brad Mayville (Marion, NY/Wayne)# rounded out a 4-0 weekend with a win over Garland McCormick with a pinfall at 4:51, #
Tyler Brooks-Lambert (Seneca Castle, NY/Midlakes)# picked up his first win of the season at 165 lbs. with a pinfall over Skylar Caldwell at 2:14. #
Eddie McBride (Germantown, MD/Northwest)# defeated Bass Conway 8-4 at 285 lbs.
The Tigers returns to action next Saturday, Jan. 19 when RIT sompetes at the Empire Wrestling Championships hosted by SUNY Cortland.
