Baseball standout Skip Flanagan to become first hard-of-hearing athlete to play in the "Old Time Game"

CAMBRIDGE, MA - Current RIT baseball standout Skip Flanagan (Framingham, MA/Bishop Feehan), who will begin his sophomore season with the Tigers in 2012-13, will become the first hard-of-hearing athlete to compete at the 19th annual "Old Time Game" in Cambridge, Mass. on Monday, August 13 at 7 p.m. Flanagan was the subject of a feature story in The Attleboro Sun Chronicle and a second story in the Boston Globe. Flanagan enjoyed a strong freshman season for the Tigers in 2012, playing first base and outfield, while hurling 41.2 innings on the mound. He picked up two wins for the Tigers and recorded 19 base hits, while stealing four bases.
