ROCHESTER, NY -- Sophomore Maite Vera (Santa Cruz, Bolivia/Mayor San Loranzo) of the RIT women's tennis team earned All-Liberty League honorable mention accolades in singles, the League announced on Tuesday, May 15. 

Vera finished the season with eight wins, all at first singles, and earned Liberty League Performer of the Week accolades on October 17, after winning the New York State Women's Tennis Championships at first singles. 

Vera also earned All-Empire 8 first team honors in both singles and doubles in 2010, and was named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year
