ROCHESTER, NY - Freshman diver John Tellgren (Anoka, MN/Anoka) of the RIT men's swimming and diving team was named the Liberty League Diver of the Week on Monday for the week ending February 5, 2012. It is Tellgren's first weekly honor.

Tellgren won the 3-meter diving competition with a score of 294.20 and also won the 1-meter with a score of 274.70, in RIT's 194-95 win over Nazareth on Saturday.

The Tigers return to action at the 2012 UNYSCSA Championships on Feb. 22-25.
