Men's track and field competes at the Bomber Invitational

ITHACA, NY -- The RIT men's indoor track and field team competed at the Bomber Invitational on Saturday. The Tigers picked up several top-10 finishes.

The team of Mike Andrews (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott), Chris Hartmann (Camp Hill, PA/Lower Dauphin), Josh Norris (Guilford, NY/Bainbridge-Guilford) and Drake Wilson (Monterey, CA/York) won the 4x200 meter relay in a time of 1:32.99.

Andrews also picked up an eighth place finish in the 200 meter dash in a time of 23.74.

Wilson was ninth in the 60 meter dash in a time of 7.39, and Norris was third in the 500 meter dash in a time 1:09.25.

Nicholas Flumerfeldt (Corfu, NY/Notre Dame) placed sixth in the long jump with a jump of 6.15 meters.

David Haller (/) was fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 12.67 meters, and Troy Johnson (Kingston, NY/Kingston) was fifth in the weight throw with a throw of 14.62 meters.

The Tigers will compete in the Liberty League Championships beginning on Feb. 11 at St. Lawrence University.
