ROCHESTER, NY -- John Tellgren (Anoka, MN/Anoka) of the RIT Men's Swmming and Diving teams was named Liberty League Co-Diver of the Week honors for the week ending Sunday, December 2, 2012.

Tellgren was named Liberty League Co-Diver of the Year after a win and a second place at the 2012 Liberty League Diving Championships this past weekend. On Friday, the sophomore won the 3-meter diving competition with a final score of 553.60. Saturday, Tellgren took second in the 1-meter competition posting a score of 467.35 points.

Tellgren and the Tigers return to action on Saturday, December 8 when they host Utica College at 1 pm at Judson Pool.
