ROCHESTER, NY -- RIT Athletics mourns the loss of Alexis Stanley '10, who tragically lost her life in a car accident in Colorado on November 1 at the age of 24. Stanley was a standout on the women's tennis team at RIT from 2007-2009. She finished her career at RIT with a 31-15 doubles record and posted 21 singles victories. In 2009, Stanley earned Empire 8 first team honors in doubles competition. A Vestal, New York native, Stanley graduated from RIT with a degree in American Sign Language and Interpreting. RIT extends their thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Alexis.
