ROCHESTER, NY - The RIT women's cross country team completed its 2012 season with a 17th place finish out of 39 teams at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championships hosted by the University of Rochester at Genesee Valley Park on Saturday. RIT finished with a team score of 505 points. St. Lawrence won the meet and advanced to the NCAA Championships along with SUNY Geneseo with a team score of 49 points.

Erin LaFave (Troy, MI/Bloomfield Hills Lahser)# closed out her RIT career by earning All-Region honors, blazing the 6,000-meter course in a time of 22:50.6 to finish 28th overall out of 277 runners. She was RIT's top finisher.

Amanda Dole (Mantua, NJ/Clearview Regional)# was RIT's second best finisher, placing 65th overall in a time of 23:34.7. Rebecca Greiner finished 114th in a time of 24:17.5. #
Katrijn Moulin (Scarborough, ME/Scarborough)# was 150th in a time of 24:55.9, while #
Amy Becker (Colonie, NY/Colonie)# rounded out RIT's top-five, finishing 164th in a time of 25:04.9.
Today was RIT's Tiger Den event, as several students were in attendance to cheer on the squad.
