ROCHESTER, NY - Senior #Erin LaFave (Troy, MI/Bloomfield Hills Lahser)# of the RIT women's cross country team was named the Liberty League Performer of the Week on Monday for the week ending Oct. 14, 2012. It is LaFave's first weekly honor of the season and seventh of her career.

LaFave broke her own school record and recorded a personal best in the 6,000-meter Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Oberlin College on Saturday, finishing 22nd overall out of 270 runners with a tremendous time of 22:07.60. RIT finished seventh out of 30 teams.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, as they compete at the NYSCTC Championships, hosted by Nazareth College at Centre Park in Fairport. The meet begins at 12 p.m.
