ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's lacrosse team was named an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Academic squad on Monday. The Tigers were one of 70 teams in all of Division III to reveive the honor.

To qualify for recognition, schools achieved a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or above for the 2010-2011 academic year.

The Tigers finished the season with a 6-11 overall record and were fourth in the Empire 8 conference with a 5-3 record. RIT lost to Stevens 15-6 in the Empire 8 Conference semifinals.
