ROCHESTER, NY -- Rachael Bromson (Suffield, CT/Suffield) of the RIT women's soccer team was named to the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-East Region Second Team on Monday.

Bromson, who was an All-Liberty League first team selection, led RIT and was second in the Liberty League with 22 points in 2011. She was first in the conference averaging 1.57 points per game, and was first in the conference with nine goals. Her four assists was tied for fourth in the league. Bromson's 22 points is tenth all time at RIT, while her nine goals is tenth all time at RIT for goals in a season.She tallied 11 points on five goals and an assist in conference play.

RIT finished the season with an 8-10-0 overall record. The Tigers finished third in the conference standings with a 6-3-0 record. The Tigers finished the season with a loss to Skidmore in the Liberty league semis.
