ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT wrestling team defeated SUNY Morrisville, 31-11, on Tuesday evening with five people picking up wins for the Tigers. They improve to 3-8-0.

#Mike McInally (Bergen, NY/Byron-Bergen)# continues his reign, moving to 18-0, and remains second in the nation. He defeated Joshua Lear at 149 lbs. with a 17-6 major decision.

#Shin Wakabayashi (Rochester, NY/Brighton) defeated Justin Delamothe on a 6-5 decision. (Rochester, NY/Bishop Kearney)Sean Sercu (Rochester, NY/Bishop Kearney)# allowed Antonio Hernandez only one point as he won, 12-1 major decision. #Tyler Brent (Gasport, NY/Royalton-Hartland)# took down Jeremy Hoyte on a tech. fall at 4:15, 16-0. #Nick Stewart (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin)# won a close race against Todd Hall, 4-3, in which riding time was the deciding factor.

The Tigers return to action as they travel to the New York State Championships on Saturday and Sunday.
