ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT men's tennis team defeated SUNY Oswego 9-0 in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon. The win improves the Tigers to 3-4 on the season.
In doubles action
Neville Bilimoria (Mumbai/Schiller International) and
Clayton Tontarski (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) were winners in the first spot.
Larry Hall (Fairport, NY/Fairport) and
John Albers (Grands Rapids, MI/Forest Hills) blanked Paul Kniernan and Andrew Gustafson 8-0, and
Adam Wolf (South Euclid, Ohio/Brush) and
Will Abisalih (Merrimac, MA/Phillips Exeter Academy) defeated Jeff McGovern and Dan O'Brien 8-0.
In singles all six RIT players won in straight sets. The Tigers are right back at it on Friday at Utica College. The match begins at 1 pm in Utica, New York.
