Women's hoops falls at home to Nazareth
ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's basketball team was defeated by Nazareth College (11-12, 5-9 E8) 56-45 in Empire 8 action on Tuesday night. The loss drops RIT to 9-11 on the season and 3-8 in the Empire 8.

Brianna O'Dell (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenedehowa) led the Tigers with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Anne Wapshare (Blasdell, NY/Immaculata Academy) added 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds and
Sharon Dennis (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) grabbed a game-high 18 rebounds.
RIT struggled from the floor shooting 26.8 percent for the game on 19-of-71 shooting. The Tigers 5-of-19 from three point land and were out rebounded 56-53.
RIT, trailing by only two late in the game, was outscored by the Flyers 9-0 over the final 2:52 of the second half.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, February 12 when they travel to Elmira College. Tip-off is at 6 pm in Elmira, New York.
