Men's track competes at SU

SYRACUSE, NY -- A small group of the RIT Men’s Track and Field team travelled to Syracuse this weekend for the invitational held by Syracuse University. Competing against both Division I and Division III teams, several tigers did exceptionally well.
Sophomore
Ethan Bensley (Kittery Point, ME/Home-schooled) placed 18th in the mile. He crossed the finish line in a time of 4:34.42. Another sophomore,
Zach Nelson (Rochester, NY/Victor), was 20th in the 500-meter dash with a time of 71.0.
Freshman
Skylar Korb () was 16th in the 400-meter dash, sprinting to the finish in a time of 53.2. Korb then went on to establish a ninth place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.64.
The men’s team will be back in action next weekend as the team splits and travels to both Cornell University and Boston University.
