ROCHESTER, NY -- Sophomore center Brendan Harder (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) was named the ECAC Upstate and Empire 8 Player of the Week on Monday for the week ending February 14, 2010.

Harder averaged 24 points, six rebounds, and two assists in a 3-0 week for RIT. He started the week with a career-high 33 points in the Tigers’ overtime win over Nazareth. Harder netted 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a victory over Elmira on Friday and ended the week with 15 points, five boards, three assists, and a steal in an 89-69 Tigers’ win over Utica.

Harder and RIT will host Alfred University on Tuesday, February 16 at 8 pm in Clark Gymnaisum.
