GREENVILLE, PA - The RIT wrestling team (1-13) finished 1-2 at the Mel Berry Duals hosted by Thiel College on Saturday. The Tigers fell to Thiel, 37-12 in the opener, then earned its first dual win of the 2009-10 season, 42-12 over West Virginia Tech. RIT concluded the afternoon with a close 30-24 loss to Mercyhurst North East.

Ben Johnstone (West Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta)# won all three of his matches. He defeated Jacob Perpar of Thiel, 5-3, then picked up a forfeit win against West Virginia Tech. Johnstone concluded the afternoon with a pin against Mercyhurst North East. #
Zach Feador (North Olmsted, OH/North Olmsted)# picked up a pair of wins on the afternoon, defeating Jeff Rockenstein of Thiel via pinfall in 6:13. He then earned a win by forfeit against Mercyhurst North East.
