Wrestling falls to Baldwin Wallace and Thiel at Budd Whitehill Dual Meet

WILLIAMSPORT, PA - The RIT wrestling team (0-10) remained winless on the season, falling to Baldwin Wallace, 44-10, and Thiel, 50-5 in consolation action of the 2009 Budd Whitehill Dual Meet hosted by Lycoming College.  Yesterday, RIT lost to The College of New Jersey and SUNY Oswego.

Against Baldwin Wallace, Edgar Vizcarra (Milwaukee, WI/Rufus King) picked up a win by forfeit at 165 lbs.  Tyler Brent (Gasport, NY/Royalton-Hartland) picked up a 16-6 major decision victory at 184 lbs.  Shin Wakabayashi (Rochester, NY/Brighton) pinned his opponent at 125 lbs. for RIT's lone points against Thiel.

RIT returns to action on Tuesday, as they travel to SUNY Morrisville for a dual match starting at 7 p.m.
