SPRINGFIELD, OH - The RIT women's track and field team closed out its 2009 outdoor season by placing 36th overall at the 2009 ECAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Springfield College on Thursday and Friday.

Joanna Dobeck (Victor, NY/Mercy) (Victor, NY/Mercy) placed fourth in the hepthalon with a score of 3,238 points. 

The 4 x 100-meter relay squad of Samantha Mitchell (Southlake, TX/Carroll) (Southlake, TX/June Shelton), Allison Dupra (Victor, NY/Victor), Caitlyn Peterson (Ontario, NY/Wayne) and Abby Arday (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) finished eighth with a time of 49.25 seconds.
