ROCHESTER, NY - All 18 skaters recorded at least one point, as the No. 7 RIT women's hockey team (3-0-1, 3-0-1 ECAC West) exploded for 17 goals in a 17-1 win over SUNY Potsdam (3-4-0, 1-3-0 ECAC West) on Saturday afternoon at Ritter Arena. The 17 goals scored by RIT are the most since they potted the same number against MIT on Jan. 19, 2002.
Katie Stack (Batavia, NY/Rochester Edge) recorded the hat-trick to lead RIT offensively.
Kylie Mazzetta (Lakewood, CO/Colorado Selects) tallied a goal and added three assists, while
Sarah Dagg (St. George, Ontario/Hamilton Hawks) dished out four helpers.
Ali Hills (Honeoye Falls, NY/Berkshire School) had a goal and two assists, while
Shireen Irani also tallied a pair of goals. (Calgary, Alberta/PSA Chaos)Missy Hall
added a goal and two assists.
Freshmen (Tinley Park, IL/Chicago Young Americans)Danielle Read, Ariane Yokoyama, and Kristina Moss
scored their first collegiate goals. Classmate (Tinley Park, IL/Chicago Young Americans)Tenecia Hiller
recorded three assists, while (Tinley Park, IL/Chicago Young Americans)Ellesha Fortuna and Kayla Ross
had a goal and two assists each.

RIT led 6-0 after one period, and 11-1 after two periods.
RIT out-shot the Bears 78-7, including 30-0 in the third period. RIT goaltender
Amy Torgerson (Owatonna, MN/Gilmour Academy) stopped six shots for the victory.
Annmarie Lewis scored Potsdam's lone goal, 5:09 into the second period. Monique Gagnier and Stephanie Simons assisted on the goal. Hillary Hitchman started in goal for the Bears and stopped 29 shots. Jen Conophy made 32 saves over the final 27:33.
RIT was 6-for-14 on the power-play and scored its third shorthanded goal of the season. The Tigers have 14 power-play goals in just 36 chances (38.9 percent) this season.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, Dec. 5 when they travel to play New England College. The contest begins at 7 p.m.
