Burdick garners Empire 8 Athlete of the Week honor for fourth time in 2009
ROCHESTER, NY - Senior #Jared Burdick# of the RIT men's cross country team, was named the Empire 8 Runner of the Week on Monday, for the week ending October 31, 2009. It is Burdick's fourth Empire 8 weekly honor this season.

Jared Burdick (Manlius, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius) of the RIT men's cross country team, was named the Empire 8 Runner of the Week on Monday, for the week ending October 31, 2009. It is Burdick's fourth Empire 8 weekly honor this season.
Burdick was named Runner of the Meet at the Empire 8 Men’s Cross Country Championship at Saratoga Springs. He won the eight-kilometer race in 25:34.15 to earn first-team all-conference honors for the fourth time in his career and lead the Tigers to the team title.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, November 14, as they compete at the 2009 Atlantic Region Championships at nearby Letchworth State Park.
