ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT (3-4) women's basketball team erased a 14-point second half deficit to defeat Cazenovia College (0-9) 79-68 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Sharon Dennis (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool)# (Liverpool, NY) had a career-high 26 points and 19 rebounds. She scored 17 of her 26 points in the second half.
The Tigers trailed early on but a run in the middle part of the half helped the Tigers to a five point lead, thier largest of the half.
#Sharon Dennis (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool)#' (Liverpool, NY) free throw at the 10:21 mark of the half gave the Tigers a 15-10 lead, their largest of the half. She finished with nine first-half points.
The Wildcats closed out the half with a 12-2 run to lead by eight at the break.
Cazenovia opened up a 14-point lead early in the second half. Amanda Thomas made 45-31 Wildcats with 16:04 remaining.
The Tigers scrapped and clawed their way back into the game, using a 33-17 run to take a two-point lead on a three-pointer by
Rachel Bruno (Clyde, NY/Clyde-Savannah).
The Tigers never looked back going onto the 11-point win.

RIT is off until January 2 when they host Empire 8 rival Utica College at 6 pm in Clark Gymnasium.
