HAMBURG, NY - The RIT women's basketball team (2-2) opened the game on a 15-3 run and ended the contest on a 36-10 burst, en route to defeating Hilbert College, 81-49 in a non-conference contest on Sunday afternoon.

#Danielle Furman (Coudersport, PA/Coudersport)# (Coudersport, NY/Coudersport) drilled four 3-pointers, scoring 17 points and dishing out five assists.
Senior point guard
#Kelly Votolato (Raynham, MA/Cranston East)# (Raynham, MA/Cranston East) tallied career-highs of nine points and nine boards to go along with six assists. Classmate

RIT's tough defense forced 34 Hilbert turnovers. The Tigers out-rebounded Hilbert (0-5) 51-41.
The Tigers are back in action on Wednesday, as they host #5 University of Rochester at 7 p.m.
