OSWEGO, NY - The RIT wrestling squad fell to SUNY Oswego, 33-13 in the first dual match of the season for both teams on Saturday afternoon at the Max Ziel Gymnasium. Senior
Luke Baum (Ontario, NY/Wayne) won his 110th career match, becoming RIT's all-time leader in victories.
Baum broke Darrell Leslie's record for wins in a career at RIT, as he defeated Brandon Heffernan, 6-2 at 149 lbs. He is now 110-41 all-time at RIT. Baum is 6-2 this season.

Mike McInally (Bergen, NY/Byron-Bergen), making his first appearance of the season, gave RIT an early lead, as he scored a 13-3 win at 133 lbs. over Paul Slaver.
Junior
Jason Wake (Delhi, NY/Delaware Academy) improved to 6-1 this season, as he shut-out Ethan Johnson, 7-0 at 165 lbs. Wake placed second in that weight class at the Ithaca Invitational last weekend.
Senior
Nick Ryan (Fairport, NY/Fairport) picked up a 5-4 win over Tom Lester at 184 lbs.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, as they compete at the Oneonta Red Dragon Invitational.
