MOON TOWNSHIP, PA – The RIT women's hockey team (9-11-4, 5-5-0 CHA) had its four-game winning streak snapped, falling at College Hockey America leader Robert Morris University (10-11-4, 8-2-1 CHA), 3-1 from Colonials Arena Friday evening.
Madison Farrand (Potomac, MD/Winston Churchill) scored the lone goal for the Tigers, just 2:57 into the contest.
Tori Haywood (Pickering, Ontario/St. Mary's Catholic) and
Jade Mancini (Burlington, Ontario/Bishop Tonnos) earned assists on Farrand's goal, her third of the season.

"I am proud of our group," said Bruce B. Bates Women's Hockey Coach
Chad Davis. "We are embracing the process, and look forward to getting back after it tomorrow."
With the game tied at 1-1 in the third period, Curlett scored with 11:14 left in regulation to give Robert Morris the lead. Curlett got the puck on the left wing, skated in towards the goal and fired a shot past Lanteigne, who was screened.
RIT would have chances late in regulation, but could not convert.
Ellie Larson (Hutchinson, MN/Hutchinson Tigers) put a slap shot on net but
Kendall Cornine's (Kinnelon, NJ/Morristown Beard) rebound attempt found Bailey's glove. In the closing minutes Robert Morris was called for tripping, putting RIT on the power play. With 2:28 left in the game the Tigers pulled Lanteigne to have a 6-on-4 advantage. RIT fired eight shots towards the net on the power play but could not convert.
With two seconds left on the clock, Rennie scored an empty-netter to put the game away.
The Colonials have won all three meetings between the two schools in 2018-19.
RIT and Robert Morris conclude the weekend series at 3:05 p.m. on Saturday afternoon from Colonials Arena.
