TORONTO, ON -- Former RIT men's lacrosse standout Jordan MacIntosh (Oakville, ON/Holy Trinity) was selected fourth overall in the 2011 National Lacrosse League (NLL) Entry Draft. MacIntosh was a two-time All-American for the Tigers from 2009-2011.

“Jordan is a really well-spoken young man, who is eager to play,” said Associate General Manager Joe Sullivan said. “He's so versatile and he brings a lot to our team."

MacIntosh was a second-team All-American selection in 2011 and was an honorable mention honoree in 2010. A two-time All-Empire 8 first-team selection and 2010 Empire 8 Co-Player of the Year, MacIntosh led the Tigers in scoring in 2011 with 75 points on 43 goals and 32 assists. He was second on the team with 93 ground balls and won 103-of-200 face-offs this season. The 75 points in 2011 is tenth all-time at RIT for points in a season. He finished his career at RIT 25th on the all-time scoring list with 128 points on 78 goals and 49 assists.

RIT finished the 2011 season with a program-record 19 wins. The Tigers set a record for longest winning streak, winning 19 straight games, and started the season 19-0. RIT finished 19-1, winning the Empire 8 regular season and tournament championships, and made into the NCAA Division III Tournament, beating Denison (2nd Round) and Amherst (Quarerfinals), before falling to Tufts University in national semifinals.
