RIT Tigers Strength and Conditioning
Mission Statement
The primary goal of the RIT Tiger Strength and Conditioning team is to provide a safe and effective environment for the student-athletes where they can develop themselves into competitive athletes. Our philosophy uses power, speed and agility to better prepare the student-athletes to be competitive in sport. Strength and conditioning programs are tailored to individual sport to work on the needs of the coaches and student-athletes. We believe that championships are won and lost in the weight room and therefore we place a great amount of time and effort to implement programs so that athletes may achieve their goals. By emphasizing the importance of a well design program, student-athletes decrease the risk of injury and increase their mental and physical state.
