In game one, RIT lead 3-0 before Stevens scored three times in the third inning, and twice in the fourth to take a lead they would not relinquish.

Ed Hughes (Jamesville, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt), who hit two home runs yesterday, was 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI.  Jeffrey Creagh (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Forks) also drove in two runs.

Sophomore hurler Brad Wright (Baldswinville, NY/C.W. Baker) took the loss, despite throwing four innings of scoreless relief which allowed RIT to get back into the game.  He allowed just three hits and one run in 4 1/3 innings.

The Tigers return to action on Thursday, as they resume a doubleheader against Utica at RIT Field, which gets underway at 2 p.m.  Game one will resume in the top of the third inning with Utica leading 1-0.
