ONEONTA, NY -- The RIT women's basketball team dropped a close game at Hartwick College 46-44 on Friday. The loss drops RIT to 11-13 overall and 5-10 in the Empire 8.

The Tigers trailed by five at the half, but came back in the second half and led by one with 2:27 to play in regulation. The Hawks scored the final three points to pull out the two-point win.

RIT shot 25 percent from the floor on 17-of-68 shooting. Sharon Dennis (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) led RIT with 14 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks. Leslie Havens (Wayland, NY/Wayland-Cohocton) had 13 points and nine rebounds for the TIgers, who will face Stevens on Sunday at 12 pm.
